New Delhi is nothing less than chaos during the monsoon season with all that traffic jams and floods that occur in the low lying areas, but I think that is not exactly what Delhi has to offer to its residents and all the people that visit the capital city during the rainy season. I believe every city in the world is very much like that especially in India where people from various small towns and villages land up in metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi for work and to earn their livelihood and on top of it the poor civic administration that does very little to resolve city’s complex problems. Well, I am not here to talk on social and political issues but instead I would like to highlight some great monsoon weekend getaways that are near New Delhi that can help my readers to get out of this urban cacophony and all the stress that they build up during the week.
