In reply to Teagan R Geneviene. Appreciate that you took time to explore these hotels and comment, Teagan. The Leela Mumbai offers a resort-like experience while it is a hotel. Instead of putting up one picture per hotel I decided to make this collage that allow readers to make better choices. If you do not like runway-view rooms you can always get a city-view room at Fairfield Marriott. JW Marriott Sahar is an amazing property and you have a great taste, I can see that. In reply to Dan Antion. Thank you for visiting and commenting on this one, Dan. I believe it has to do with the fact that Mumbai is the financial and entertainment capital of India. I mean this is the city where money is made in India so there can be no compromises, can there? I believe you usually used to stay at Hyatt during your work time? How was the experience? We've so far tried Marriott once.

This is an interesting post, Sharukh. Although nowhere near the size of Mumbai, we live in the town that has all the airport hotels. They are all very bland. Most don’t have dining options let alone nice or luxury amenities. Just a place to rest your head. The only one that is decent is the Sheraton that sits within the airport.

Those are great reasons, Sharukh. Travel (for pleasure or for business) is more enjoyable when simplified. That pool at the Leela looks so inviting. I love the rounded architecture of the Maratha in that photo! The skylight in their dining room is cool too. That’s an interesting stairway feature in the Hilton bar. I’m sure the Fairfield Marriott is convenient, but the idea of looking out the window of my room and seeing planes taxi up freaks me out. That’s just me. However, the JW Marriott looks serene in the photos, pleasant rooms and facilities. Now my Internet has slowed to a crawl again. I'll come back to finish looking at all these marvelous hotels.
